Apple Device Management for Business

🍎 Apple Technical Partner · Perth, WA

Manage every Mac, iPhone and iPad from day one

We set up Apple Business Manager and a modern mobile device management (MDM) platform so new Apple devices configure themselves out of the box, apps are bought and assigned centrally, and lost or departing devices stay under your control. For Perth and WA businesses of any size, from a handful of MacBooks to a mixed fleet of iPhones and iPads.

What we set up

Apple Business Manager

Apple’s free portal that links your company’s devices, apps and staff accounts to your MDM.

  • Organisation enrolment and verification
  • Linking your reseller so new purchases appear automatically
  • Managed Apple Accounts for staff, with federated sign-in to Microsoft Entra ID
  • Roles and locations for multi-site businesses

Zero-touch enrolment

Ship a sealed device straight to a staff member — it enrols and configures itself on first power-on.

  • Automated Device Enrolment
  • Locked-in management that can’t be removed by the user
  • Wi-Fi, email, VPN and security settings pushed automatically
  • Ready-to-work setup for new starters

Modern MDM

We manage Apple devices in Microsoft Intune alongside your Windows fleet, or in a dedicated Apple MDM where that suits better.

  • Declarative device management for faster, more reliable policy
  • Enforced macOS and iOS update deadlines
  • FileVault encryption, passcode and compliance policies
  • Platform SSO and Conditional Access with Microsoft 365

Apps and Books (volume purchasing)

Buy App Store apps in bulk under the business, assign them to people or devices, and take licences back when someone leaves.

  • Apps and Books (formerly the Volume Purchase Program)
  • Silent app installs — no personal Apple Account needed
  • Licence reclaim and reassignment
  • Custom and private business apps

When a device goes missing or someone leaves

Managed devices can be locked, located or wiped remotely, Activation Lock is controlled by the business rather than the individual, and company apps and data can be removed from personal devices without touching personal photos or messages.

Who this is for

  • Design studios, architects and creative teams running on Mac
  • Businesses issuing iPhones or iPads to staff, or running iPads as POS and kiosks
  • Mixed Windows and Apple environments that want one management console
  • Anyone currently setting up Apple devices by hand, one at a time

Frequently asked questions

What is Apple Business Manager?

Apple Business Manager is Apple’s free web portal for businesses. It connects the Apple devices you buy, the apps you license and your staff accounts to a mobile device management (MDM) system, so devices can be configured and managed centrally.

Can you manage Macs and iPhones with Microsoft Intune?

Yes. Intune supports Apple Business Manager enrolment, macOS and iOS policies, app deployment and update enforcement, so Apple and Windows devices can be managed in one place. Where a business is Apple-only or needs deeper Mac controls, we may recommend a dedicated Apple MDM instead.

Can existing devices be added to Apple Business Manager?

Devices bought through an authorised reseller or carrier linked to your account appear automatically. Devices bought elsewhere can usually be added using Apple Configurator, which requires a reset of the device, so we plan it around your staff.

What happened to Apple VPP?

The Volume Purchase Program is now called Apps and Books and lives inside Apple Business Manager. It lets a business buy apps in bulk, assign them to staff or devices through MDM, and reclaim licences when they’re no longer needed.

Do you support businesses outside Perth?

Yes. Apple device management is done remotely, so we support businesses across Western Australia and Australia-wide, with onsite help in the Perth metro area.
